Maxwell Beffa
Maxwell Beffa, a St. Louis native, was graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. He received his Juris Doctorate from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2023 and was admitted to the Missouri Bar that same year.
While at the University of Missouri-Columbia, Maxwell interned with the Supreme Court of Missouri. Later, during law school, Maxwell interned at the St. Louis County Prosecutor’s Office. These positions provided Maxwell invaluable experience with the full range of criminal law practice including legal research and writing, preparing cases for litigation, and appearing in court for contested hearings.
Since joining Niehoff, Peterson, & Cortez LLC in 2023, Maxwell’s practice has been focused on handling felony, misdemeanor, and driving-related offenses in state and municipal courts in Missouri.
